IFT-01 uses software derived from the open-source Stratux project and other open-source components. Stratux is a software component, not the IFT-01 product brand.
Placement, heat and care
- Secure IFT-01 where it cannot interfere with controls, visibility or occupants.
- Keep the enclosure unobstructed and give the unit a clear view of the sky.
- Keep the receiver shaded and away from a sun-heated dashboard.
- Do not cover ventilation openings; allow normal cabin airflow around the unit.
- Protect the receiver from liquids, crushing and loose metal objects.
- Inspect the power cable and enclosure before use. Do not use the receiver if it is damaged.
- Do not open the product, program its receivers or alter its software.
If it repeatedly resets, loses Wi-Fi, displays a persistent DEGRADED or FAULT state, or reports a thermal fault, discontinue use and contact support.
Important safety information
ADS-B traffic can be incomplete, delayed, blocked or unavailable. Some aircraft do not transmit compatible position reports. IFT-01 is not certified collision-avoidance equipment. Continue to see and avoid at all times.
FIS-B products may be delayed or unavailable and do not replace approved preflight or in-flight weather sources. The pilot in command remains responsible for safe operation and for using appropriate approved information.
Screenshots show point-in-time live receiver observations. They are examples of the interface, not guaranteed range, traffic, satellite, temperature or reception specifications.
