Connect an EFB

Send GDL 90 traffic and IFT-01 GPS data to a compatible electronic flight bag.

Join the receiver network

  2. Open Wi-Fi settings.Join the network named IFT-01. The network intentionally does not provide Internet access.

If the EFB does not connect

  1. Confirm the phone or tablet is still joined to IFT-01 Wi-Fi.
  2. Open ift01.local and confirm the Status page loads.
  3. Select the EFB's supported external ADS-B or GDL 90 option if required.
  4. Prevent the device from automatically leaving IFT-01 Wi-Fi because it has no Internet connection.

The IFT-01 status interface remains available while the device is connected to receiver Wi-Fi.
CURRENT VALIDATED SCOPE

Physical Android testing with Avare demonstrated IFT-01 traffic and built-in GPS ownship presentation. FIS-B weather was not received during that test and is not claimed as validated. Other EFBs require validation with the specific device, operating-system and application versions.
