The Weather page displays FIS-B products received over 978 MHz from FAA ground stations when reception is available.
WAITING FOR FIS-B
No current ground station or weather product is being received. Coverage depends on location, terrain, antenna placement and ground-station availability.
Formal IFT-01 field validation of FIS-B weather reception remains pending. Never assume the Weather page contains complete or current weather. Confirm critical weather through approved aviation sources.
GPS placement and states
Place or move IFT-01 where it has a clear view of the sky. Buildings, roofs and some aircraft structures can delay or prevent a fix.
GPS STATEMEANING
3D FixA three-dimensional position and altitude solution is available.
2D FixA horizontal position is available, but the full altitude solution is not.
No FixThe GPS receiver is connected but does not have a usable position.
DisconnectedIFT-01 is not detecting the GPS receiver.
An indoor No Fix condition is normal. Place or move IFT-01 where it has a clear view of the sky and allow time for acquisition.
